Your blog is quite Wonderful -I'm reminded a of a quote from the great baby doctor Benjamin Spock -to children: "Trust yourself, you know more than you think you do." Unfortunately many parents seem to instill in their young ones a feeling of inadequacy. Very sad. It's equally important for parents to continue their learning as it is for kids. Take Care.

With my boys I struggle with the fine line between telling them they can achieve anything but giving them some heads up that there's a chance they might not make the team (or whatever else they are trying for) this time around so they won't be blindsided and devastated if they don't.
